estimation of crop actual evapotranspiration using sebal algorithm (case study: khoramdareh region at zanjan province)

چکیده
accurate estimation of crop evapotranspiration (etc) plays an important role in improving the water useefficiency (wue) and water management. due to the presence of different types of coatings plant in large areas, the accurate calculation of the water requirements by conventional methods is elusive or impossible. remote sensing methods are becoming attractive to estimate crop evapotranspiration, as they cover large areas and can provide accurate and reliable estimations. present study estimates the actual evapotranspiration of corn and alfalfa cover at khoramdareh region using remote sensing and meteorological data. surface energy balance algorithm for land (sebal) and landsat 8 images were utilized to determine actual evapotranspiration of corn and alfalfa covers. the obtained results were compared with the results of the pm-fao56 model. the results showed that two models had good agreement with each other. values of rmse for the estimation of actual evapotranspiration of corn and alfalfa was found respectively, 0.92 and 1.25 mm/day. the determination coefficient (r2) for corn and alfalfa was respectively 0.89 and 0.83 respectively. the results showed that the sebal algorithm estimates the actual evapotranspiration of corn and alfalfa crop respectively less and more thanpm-fao56 model.

estimation of reference crop evapotranspiration using the least meteorological data (case study: khorasan razavi province)
abstract one of the losses decrease's ways in fields, is the proper irrigation management, which its base is the accurate estimation of crop water requirement. equations which are used to calculate the reference evapotranspiration (eto), do not use the same climatic parameters and due to their empirical base, are not match to all climatic situations. so it is needed to clarify proper methods fo...
متن کاملEstimation of Potential Evapotranspiration and Crop Coefficient of Maize at Rupandehi District of Nepal
This study was conducted to determine the potential evapotranspiration (PET) of maize, the crop coefficient (Kc) under full water requirement as well as the cause of decrease in maize yield. It was determined that the seasonal PET of maize is about 486.6 mm. The Kc under full water supply was found to be: 0.11, 0.35, 1.51 and 0.34 for initial, development, midseason and the late season stages r...
متن کاملEstimation of Potential Evapotranspiration and Crop Coefficient of Wheat at Rupandehi District of Nepal
This study is carried out to estimate the potential evapotranspiration (PET) and crop coefficient (Kc) for Wheat, BL 3235 variety. A lysimeter is installed to estimate PET at the experimental farm of Agricultural Research Center of Bhairahawa, which is located in western part of Nepal. The Blaney-Criddle formula is used to estimate the Kc for wheat. The estimated values of PET and Kc for wheat ...
متن کاملEstimation of Evapotranspiration in Fars Province Using Experimental Indicators
The purpose of this study is to determine the evapotranspiration in Fars province that in many studies such as hydrological balance of water, irrigation systems design and management, simulation of product volume and management of water resources is very important. To do this, first, required data such as daily temperature, humidity, precipitation, wind speed, solar radiation pressures, solar r...
متن کاملUsing SEBAL to Investigate How Variations in Climate Impact on Crop Evapotranspiration
Water allocation to crops, and especially to the most water intensive ones, has always been of great importance in agricultural processes. Deficit or excessive irrigation could create either crop health-related problems or water over-consumption, respectively. The latter could lead to groundwater depletion and deterioration of its quality through deep percolation of agrichemical residuals. In t...
متن کاملEstimation of Actual Evapotranspiration using Remote Sensing data
Estimation of actual evapotranspiration (AET) and its spatial distribution are important to understanding of catchment hydrology. The AET is driven by net energy available to evaporate water from soil and vegetation surfaces, and to transpirate water from vegetation. However, estimating AET is difficult as the evapotranspiration process involves complex physical and biological processes. It is ...
